My friends and I were having a party at my father's place. (Lit. Me, my friends partied at fathers house.)

Gondolan is a pro-drop language, so when who is being referenced can be inferred from context or from the subject the relevant pronoun is often dropped. Thus "at fathers house" because context supports in being the subjects fathers house.
