According to Wiktionary (and one of the people arguing about it) it means "to move at great speed"... None of the definitions is "to send down meteors".

Notes
I'm thinking ter(d)- will be an occasional Silvish prefix meaning "until clean" or "without a trace"; it comes from the verb terdre "to clean". In the 17th sentence, I used terseçhê "to dry up" (< ter(d)- + seçhê "to dry"). There's also terdrençê "to rinse off/out".

Something I've been experimenting with for some time is a method of abbreviating a two-word phrase into a single word. To translate "meteor-ing" in the "moving fast" meaning, I came up with the verb telasantâ, which is derived from an abbreviation of ettéla lyisanta "shooting star".

New/rethought words
boûjhê v - move (< VL *bullico)
eksplozâ v - (trans.) explode (< Fr. exploser)
ettre apré v. phr. - be doing sth; PRS_CONT (uncommon; simple present preferred)
goelye nfc - puddle; pond; sea; (granta ~) ocean (< Frankish *gullja; cf. regional Fr. gouille)
lyisê v - slide (< Old Silvish lisê [< It. lisciare] w/ influence from lyivâ [< Frankish *glīdan])
telasantâ v - move fast, like a shooting star (< ettéla lyisanta "shooting star")
terseçhê v - (intrans.) dry up; (trans.) dry sth up (< ter(d)- "until clean" + seçhê "dry")
