Fun fact: all of these things were invented in the 20th century.

Touchscreens were developed in the 1960s, and came into widespread use during the 70s and 80s.

Virtual keyboards in the western sense were around at least by 1993, with the Newton and the Simon (the first smartphone), though by then touchscreen virtual keyboards had been in use in Japan for a decade, and I suspect non-touchscreen virtual keyboards were probably around in Japan in the 70s if not earlier (the utility of virtual keyboards, with digital scrolling, is much higher when you're dealing with thousands of possible input characters rather than just a couple of dozen...)

Artificial intelligence is an ancient concept, but became reality in the 1940s. By 1960, AI could beat humans at checkers, speak English, solve word problems, and prove logical theorems (including in some cases discovering more elegant proofs than humans had yet devised).

Work on driverless cars began in the 1920s, although it took until the 1970s before fully-automated cars were produced.

Social media is hard to define, but most of its characteristic elements - things like chatrooms, forums, bulletin boards, instant messaging, crowdsourced publically-shared news-walls and the like - arose in the early 1970s.

Thanks for your detailed revision of the century! [:D] Now let me know if your conlang is made to express those inventions. [;)]

Do you happen to have the etymologies for those terms in your conlang? And are you asking people to simply translate those terms, or also see how they came up with them?
You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.

virtuęl-litterbręð (if you mean a computer keyboard)
virtuęl-tastor (if you mean a piano keyboard)
sioselmigia (real-world term for certain websites)
seussiąl medią (used in academic and conceptual discussions)
stokerfrey loco (but sometimes seolfstoken loco, particular in dryer, more technical contexts)
artefissięl yntellegents
tątchskrine

Most of these etymologies should be relatively transparent...

All my words have etymologies of course. I use my conlang for 19 years. Feel free to translate the inventions with or without etymological background. [:)]
