Silvish uses the same "pro/per quid" derivation for "why" as a lot of Romance languages (parcoû). The Silvish term is partly fossilized because the "quid" reflex has dropped out of use as a stand-alone word. Still, most speakers can parse parcoû after a fashion through exposure to French and/or Italian.

Pazmat uses a comparative adjective in the athematic singular definite locative--that is, it says "why (is it) at very-cold-ness?".
