A bit clumsy but often I like to translate into Poswa by changing more than is absolutely necessary. I could have done this without saying "toilet paper" twice, but doing it this way fits the rhythm I like for the language. Poswa has no words for "have", "any (of that)", etc. but the /pwitopepo/ word could have still been something like wafepo "i control what you'll get".

I have all the toilet paper and (from that) you can't have any.

New word for this challenge:

decelborat [Southern Standard] - toilet paper
decelesme [Northern Standard] - toilet paper

Etymology I: decel "toilet" + borat "paper; sheet of paper"
Etymology II: decel "toilet" + esme "sheet of paper"

I have all the toilet paper and you can’t have any. (Lit. I have “all” of the cloth, it can’t be taken.)

Gondolan society, and it's daughter cultures, don't have toilet paper. So I figured I'd just substitute it for cloth.

Also I'm kinda surprised at how short this sentence is compared to English, tbh. Usually Gondolan is kind of unwieldly.

French and Silvish position their clitic object pronouns differently. In French, they usually precede the verb they relate to as closely as possible. In Silvish, they go as close to the left of the clause as possible, either stopping before the first verb in the clause or before a later verb due to considerations like scope. So in the French sentence above, the object pronoun en goes directly in front of avoir, since it replaces an object of that verb. In the Silvish sentence, en comes just before pose, the clause's first verb. I'm still working out the underlying principle, but it is allowed to go that far left partly because it can't be misinterpreted as an object of pose.

Also, "ass paper" is a top-notch name for toilet paper.

'I have all the toilet paper and you can't have any.'

No cultural conventions regarding bodily fluids have been developed yet, so 'toilet' is merely 'a place of urination' (hmáycakan) and 'paper' is 'cloth' (qippi). Thus 'toilet paper' is merely 'a cloth for a place of urination' (hmaycakáṇqippi).

Rather than type of excreta as referent, one could take it from the orificial "point of departure"/ point of view.

I am reminded of of Patois bumbaclott (lit. "cloth for your bum"). I think it also counts for "menstrual pad" in certain registers Patois.

… and bear in mind the transferred deprecative/derogatory uses of bumbaclott are legion: one who displays lack of intelligence, lack of common sense, lack of social adroitness, impolite~demeaning behavior, etc.
