It comes from terrestrial. And make an interlinear for your Kinuiltys translation.

I'm still a little fuzzy on how to do relative clauses- I don't really know how to articulate the rule I'm following here in the first sentence. I think the relativizer affix attaches to 'words' because 'words' is the shared element between 'I don't understand (the) words' and 'You're saying words'; does that make any sense at all? I can't even analyze whether that's a bound or free relative clause.

I'm thinking that Tyaaehira doesn't have a normal imperative, it uses a construction where a verb like 'order', 'request', or 'suggest' takes an object that itself is the subject of a verb in the prospective (because the response must follow the order chronologically). I'm worried, though, that this construction is too Englishy- aside from Tyaaehira's lack of an infinitive, it's basically identical to the English construction 'to order one to do'. Also, isn't that basically another kind of relative clause? I need to take a syntax class, badly. The reason it felt really English-y is because I was using English word order like a dope.
Current projects: Tyaaehira

not-know* obj-word-pl speak kadarad (Salthan)!

*ka also means "truth", and thus |akas means "to lie", so I guess technically this phrase could mean "your words lie, speak a true word". I'm not sure how it's differentiated.

unnamed conlang:

Direct translation gives:
Khe qambi da nkash. ___ qam!
[kʰe qambi da‿nkaʃ. __qam]
2S.PRE say REL NEG.1M.TOP-understand. ___ speak!

But you'd probably just say "I don't understand you!" for the first sentence:
Nkasham!
[nə̆kaʃam]
NEG.1M.TOP-understand-2M.ABS

This assumes both you and the speaker (who you're addressing) are male. If you're female and the speaker is male, it's ndzaksham; if you're male and the speaker is female, it's nkashmi; and if you're both female, it's ndzakshmi.
