Re: Count to 10 in your Conlang
Please you tell me if you'll have numbers from your conlangs, or dialects (also in other number systems: base on 5, 6, ... 11, 12, 14...) not only base to 10.
Could you please continue with this thread?
Thank you for your help!
I wish you a lot of success at your work!

Re: Count to 10 in your Conlang
I’m really curious, Janko, what do you plan to do with all these numbers? Are you just collecting them or will you make statistics at some point?
Also, since there is really no taboo on sharing the Viossa numbers, try to figure out the origins of all of them! (note: this is my idiolect, other speakers speak and write differently. It’s a pidgin after all, not a creole)

ein I would assume a north-germanic language, maybe Norwegian. It sounds a lot like the Norwegian masculine or the Swedish utrum indefinite article.
ni Obvious Japanese is obvious.
tre Directly out of, once again, Norwegian and Swedish.
kere I actually don't know. The Spanish word for four mixed together with the Norwegian one?
go Obvious Japanese = Obvious
eksi There are many Indo-European languages that this could come from. Modern Greek feels like safest bet out of the languages I know contributed.
nana Obv Jap's Obv
kasi Heavy fortition of Japanese word for eight?
nyn Indo-European.
ten English. Unless false cognates have arisen.
It would've probably been easier with IPA but I understand if that information is still classified. I guess that will be a christmas present of mine.
The accusative of <emo> is <eminem>.
Re: Count to 10 in your Conlang
Ein is probably norwegian, tre prolly too. Kere is Irish, one of like 5 Irish words that entered the language before the Irish speaker got bored of it. Eksi is indeed Greek. I would assume your assumption of 8 is correct. Nyn is Swiss German. Ten I don’t know but it’s not English. Maybe Norwegian again. It’s been too long :P
