(The two are translated very similarly because you can roughly look at Khan Nilau Khaftim as being the Old Latin of Pejlanrau Khaneč Khaftim.)

Re: I am dreaming
In Kankonian, either:
Is shiras.
1s dream-PRS
or . . .
Is shiras safga.
1s dream-PRS PROG
The progressive isn't required for progressive actions -- it's more a way of emphasizing that you are (or were) in the process of doing something. The progressive in Kankonian is used less often than the progressive in English.

There are three ways of saying this, the most common would be,
Dw braôddweithioch in.
be.AFF.1ST.PRES.SING dream 1ST.SING
I am dreaming. (lit, I am dreaming)
Or you could say,
Rôeddêt braôddweithioch in.
be.AFF.1ST.IPFV.SING dream 1ST.SING
I am dreaming. (lit, i have been dreaming)
The first example is much more common than the second.
Lastly, an odd, rarely used way of saying this,
Dw braôddweithioch in ffi braôddweith.
be.AFF.1ST.PRES.SING dream 1ST.SING 1ST.SING.GEN dream
I am dreaming(lit, my dream's dreaming me)

There are two verb options: sonjî and pittoueillî. In most dialects, one means "dream" and the other means "daydream, consider, puzzle over", but which word has which meaning varies. Sonjî is probably the only one that would be used in newspaper headlines, because pittoueillî just has too dang many letters.
