What are you listening to/watching?

What can I say? It doesn't fit above, put it here. Also the location of board rules/info.

Sounds dreadful and void to me.

Waiting for Godo is as close as I'd ever want to get!

I am reasonably sure that a salad would, existentially, be quite absurd.

But Jerry Lewis, that comedic genius, hein?

A salad of just radishes would be the most absurd.

From Godot, Wong Foo & Julie Newmar:

I happened to have a salad the other day
made of radish microgreens,
plus a couple of shredded leaves from a mature daikon that let grow from a previous microgreens patch
also some pea shoots (soooooooo sweet and good), and a few dices chinese scallion shoots and some wild carrot sprouts, and a couple of feisty thistle seedlings

If I had 'em, I could have easily added some radish roots, cubed, diced, sliced, or made into rosettes, the latter which my son likes.
Ooh! Maybe some apple slices - that sweet tang goes well with radish's peppery kick.

It would have been an extra-peppery affair, but made a zazz calmer and richer with some 2x chunky bleu cheese dressing, or some kind of giaorti/tzatziki dressing.

When the world gives you radishes …

…U make mischianza-slaw-tabbouleh, or somesuch [:P] [:P] [:P]

I found out last night, to my grimmest chagrin, that davepretendo actually is the selfsame Sephirothsword57.
[:'(] Joke's on me.

And to think I actually wanted to believe Seph when, in one of his videos, he said that he and dave were twin brothers.

He's still mighty funny, though.

J. S. Bach - Jesu, joy of Man's Desiring
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6OgZCCoXWc

The musical phrase is one of the most transporting bits of music I have ever sung:

Word of God, Our flesh that fashioned
With the Fire of Life empassioned

Wow. Just Wow.

Always leaves me
Soaring, dying round Thy throne

So I found out about an Icelandic techno/punk band, Hatari, some time late last year, but with only four singles to their name in almost as many years, I sort of stopped paying much attention to them pretty quickly.

However, I decided this evening to see if, maybe, just maybe, they'd released anything new, and, lo and behold, they had. Two new singles. And one of them is Iceland's entry for Eurovision 2019.

Now, I don't normally, i.e. ever, pay attention to Eurovision (I know Lordi won once, and that's literally the extent of my knowledge regarding the event, and ABBA maybe?), but with a song that opens with (roughly):

"The debauchery was boundless
The hangover is endless
Life is pointless
The void claims all"

I might just pay some attention, at least to see how it does.

You can tell the same lie a thousand times,
But it never gets any more true,
So close your eyes once more and once more believe
That they all still believe in you.
Just one time.
