What are you listening to/watching?

What can I say? It doesn't fit above, put it here. Also the location of board rules/info.

I look forward to the "Scandinavia and the World" comic about this. [:D]

Oh my god I hadn't even thought about that! [:D]

Last night, I was watching TV. I was pleasantly surprised as I stumbled upon a gem. A character sang a song, which in particular, sounded very griuskant-like, and it's quite possibly the most griuskant-sounding thing I have ever heard on TV [:O]

What would my conlang approximately sound like if it was a natlang song and shown on TV (well, without the consonant clusters anyway lol)

This year, the unkempt wildflowery part of the yard is seeing an ebbing of Bells of Jerusalem (Ornithogalum), and a subsequent invasion of Henbane, Shotwell (Cardamine hirsuta), and now Shepherd's Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris).

Just researched and found this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yEHJWed6Iw

Looks simple and yummy. Interesting how one prepares the root together with the greens.

Any folks who are/have been in Korea/China/Nihon who have eaten naengi (냉이)  •  jìcài (荠菜; 薺菜) • ナズナ (薺) • bolsa de pastor • грицики звичайні ¿?¿?

¿Any other suggestions for recipes? :wat:

David Bowie - Blackstar

Excellent Kombo-Breaker! What an absolute sonic surprise for my morning humbug commute into more traffic than needed to be.

These were played in sequence this morning on 103.3 WPRB Princeton, my new wyrdearwyrm local radio station.

Well, if it's anything like mollejas de pollo, then I'm in.
Smother 'em in chopped red onion & diced chile pepper, says I. [:P]

Oh Wonder - "All We Do"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyyJF_rbaqg

This song is also the theme music for the British TV series "Unforgotten," which is where I first heard it. I have a playlist of songs that use negative space in ways I like, and this got added pretty quickly.

A pop song in Aromanian, very cool [:D]

I thought it was "regular" Romanian at first, but heard some unusual sounds.

Well the Sun's coming up now, but I've sort of accidentally watched the entirety of Good Omens (the TV adaption of the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book of the same name). It was all rather enjoyable [:)]

Part of me, though, wishes it had been released an episode a week. While I enjoy a good binge as much as the next person, for something new I really do prefer the wait. The time to think an episode over, watch it a couple more times before the next one comes out. If they're all there all at once, then I'll watch them all at once, lol.

I have hoped that they'd do a good job!
David Tennant and Michael Sheen look great as the "Odd Couple" of Crowley and Aziraphale.

Cannot wait to see it!

I've watched it through again since then [:P]

Also gotten really into Hatari again since they represented Iceland at this year's Eurovision Song Contest (which I only watched their parts of, lol). I didn't go to Eistnaflug last year, but they performed there and I regret missing them (found out about them because of Eistnaflug's video of the festival afterwards).
