Conlang Survey #2 Result https://docs.google.com/document/d/1T4h ... sp=sharing
some suggestions I got for next survey
: the structure of your conlangs clauses with just one participant
(SV or VS)
:the structure of your conlangs verb phrases with an oblique argument
(OVX OXV VOX VXO XOV or XVO)
:How many morpheme in your conlangs ?
:The syntactical structure of your invented languages
(SVO OSV OVS SOV VSO VOS free word order or other)
:Is your conlang derives from a protolanguage ?
(yes or no)
also,a group of us are starting a new Conlang Database, to be housed on the Language Creation Society's website. We might get acess to our subdomain before lexember. We will progressively add basic data about the world's conlangs to a database which will be publicly searchable and able to produce reports involving stats or lists according to people's searches.
You can add your conlangs - or any you particularly know or care about - to our publicly accessible spreadsheet. All those on the sheet will be added to the database :

Always neat to see some statistics!
How many participants did you have? Looking at the gender question, it looks to be in the 250+ range. Not a bad turnout at all.
Any interesting changes in the data from Survey #1?
---
*looks at "number of words" question*
Perhaps the categories should be going ...4000-4500, 4500-5000, 5000-Kankonian...

Re: Conlang Survey 2020 #2 Result
How can I add mine (when it will be a bit more complete)?
Re: Conlang Survey 2020 #2 Result
Just click the link!
The spreadsheet is editable: just go down to the bottom (as of today, that's about No 646) and fill in the blanks! Your language doesn't have to be complete (or even a bit more complete!) to add it to the database: just leave fields blank if you don't yet have an answer. You can always go back and edit later if something major changes.

I got a good laugh out of this one!
Perhaps the final category should be Kankonian-Classical Yiklamu.

What I'm noticing is we need to recruit more non-men to places where they'd see the survey.

Have you seen this survey? I've had a lot of non-binary people answering it lately.
