Three rings to the elven kings under the sky, seven to the dwarf lords in their halls of stone, nine to the mortal men, doomed to die, and one for the dark lord on his dark throne, in the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie. One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them, One ring to bring them all, And in the darkness bind them, In the darkness bind them, In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie.

One ring to rule them,
one ring to find them,
one ring to take them,
and in the darkness bind them,
in mordor where the shadows lie*...
A few notes: Reuenshaeden is a difficult word to translate. Literally it means "resting shadows", but the tone of the word often connotes deep forboding and uneasiness. I thought it would be appropriate here.
Also, Teune uses an octal numeric system. So "uns" is not a typo, it really does mean "nine."
Sounds best when read out loud. ;)

Well, that's a really shitty translation. But with all the revisions I've been making to the language, it's gettin progressively farther away from german, and therefore harder to translate. :(

Welcome to our humble land of conlanging and other stuff! Firstly, I'd like to direct you to our translation guidelines, which you should make a note of. I have no idea if you're familiar with Leipzig glossing or not, but I'll just put this up here in case you're not.
Also, this site is very helpful for inputting IPA characters. http://weston.ruter.net/projects/ipa-ch ... /keyboard/

Re: The one ring
I'm familiar with it, and I've been here for quite a while, but I was gone for a few months. Perhaps half a year. I just tossed it together and didn't particularly want to further describe my language's phonology (mainly because I thought that no one would be interested), but I felt I should explain the 'w effect, and then started going off on a tangent. Reviewing your guidelines, I see that they've changed significantly in the past few months. I do apologise.testyal1 wrote:(If you're not new here, then ignore most of this while I weep over my inability to remember people.)Kings wrote: Rhanelic
