What kind of conlanger are you?

I am a Loyalist.

In fact, I seem to fit that initial description pretty well! My wife seems to think my language is a masterpiece, anyway!

I think the kids just take it for granted. One of my daughters refers to it as our "secret family language". Doesn't every family have its own language?

I'm something between a loyalist and a scrapper. I started out as a scrapper, but I'm becoming more and more of a loyalist. I've had lots of projects, but there is only one I work on actively.

i'm something between a loyalist and a scrapper. i've had a few isolated conlangs, about five or so. most of my conlanging work in the last six years has gone on in two language family projects though. i'm on the second right now. the first one i scrapped because the files for it got hopelessly fubarred, and i wasn't satisfied with the phonology of the protolanguage. i'm pretty satisfied with my current confamily so far.

I'm a loyalist.

I have several conlangs I started way back when I was a teenager. Now they languish in a drawer and haven't seen the light of day in decades. Even though I haven't worked on them in years I haven't scrapped them. Maybe in the coming years I'll revisit them, but I'll never scrap them.

Loyalist for definite now. Daljec has been my project for 4 months or so, and I hate the idea of any other language.
