/k/, being realised [k] before back vowels and [tʃ] before (and in word-final position also after) front vowels.
I pulled this from Late West Saxon for no other reason than annoying everyone with a medieval mess.
Also I love Old English to the Nth degree.

/n/, because conlang without it is like natlang without vowels.

/n/ has already been added by lurker.
I nominate /ɴ/, so that we have the full house of uvulars.

So far, we have:

/k~tʃ q ɢ/
/h̪͆ h~f β θ ɬ/
/m n ɴ/

/a i/

This is, if I do say so, rather atrocious.

If anyone would be so kind as to add /t d ɡ~dʒ/...

I would actually be very interested in a second viossa. If other people like the idea we could switch gears or start a new thread for it.
Already working on it

I can already tell this is going to be a disorganized mess.
.

Perhaps the OP could be updated when people make suggestions so we know what's already been established, as in gradually fill out a phonology chart, etc.

Then again, perhaps the point is for this to be a disorganized mess.

There are tonnes of langs without m
I’m betting there’s no language that doesn’t have /m/ but does have /ɬ/ and /ɢ/.

Those are independent factors. Lacking /m/ as a phoneme implies either an archphoneme /N/ that accounts for all nasals, or allophony between voiced stops and nasals, or an absence of labials (e.g. Iroquoian languages), or something like that, none of which correlate positively or negatively with the presence of lateral fricatives or voiced uvular plosives.

/R\/ (uvular trill), because we need some rhotic(s) and we have a whole series of uvulars, so this is the best option.

How about /ʃ/? Perhaps once /t/ is introduced we could have allophony like /ʃθ/ > [s̪t̪] contrasting with /ʃt/ > [ʃt̠].

Why 1 day left?

ə. The only vowel you need

I’ll nominate /t/ as well in case no one else does.

/o/, because our language lack back vowels, so I decided to fix it.

SYNTAX TIME

Here's our final phonology:

/t k~tʃ q ɢ/
/h̪͆ h~f β θ ɬ ʃ ʁ/
/m n ɴ/

/a ə i o/

This is, er, dreadful, but maybe it kinda works? Though the whole /h̪͆ h~f θ/ contrast is a bit of a crime. But that's the fun of it, I suppose!

As for a romanization, I propose the following:

/t k~tʃ q ɢ/ t k q g
/h̪͆ h~f β θ ɬ ʃ ʁ/ h f v þ l s r
/m n ɴ/ m n ŋ

/a ə i o/ a e i o

We should also establish a syllable structure.

Probably they can emerge from vowel hiatus.
