I notice that too. But I like having 4 options to choose from. If one image doesn't fit the description, you have three other choices to choose from.

Does anyone who's used NightCafé know how to get a Grey alien? I've tried "Grey alien", "the Greys", "abducted by aliens", etc., but nothing seems to work. I'd like our illustrations to fit the cartoon prototypes of the plants and animals we're doing -- for instance, I specified when designing apples that the apples be red. I would venture to say most Westerners today think of allegedly real aliens as looking like Greys rather than, say, Little Green Men.

I'm afraid it may be difficult. Simply putting "humanoid alien" gives some results, though.

"Humanoid alien" just gave me a bunch of Alien vs. Predator aliens!

Some advice I got thereon in the chatroom:
If not, find an artist that does aliens like greys. Add "soft features" as prompt. Or add words like 'authentic, Xfiles. Etc
Maybe "humanoid-grey" alien. Bulging black almond eyes

Yeah no prob. Crazy that youre getting the movie version of AVP. Maybe because its more referenced in the neuro training for the AI kerp trying

Did ten more vegetables today to put a [tick] by.

Also started the convention of [cross] for the ones we're having trouble with.

Next up are the spinach, the summer squash, the winter squash, and the tomato. Üdj, do you think you can recognize the difference between a summer squash and a winter squash well enough to take up the rest of the vegetables?

Probably, though I'm not sure if NightCafe can.

Great work! It seems NightCafé distinguished summer and winter squash, just as it distinguished sweet and sour cherries.

Did the two nuts (almond and peanut) plus seven of the eight miscellaneous crops. I tried to get it to draw a "pepper shaker", or "pepper (Piper)", though, but I can't seem to get any art of the spice pepper.

Also, you forgot to tag your tomato image wiith #cbbdictionary.

Edit: Did seven flowers too, then lost my Internet connection.

We've gotten most of the plants done now; there are just a few, such as oats, figs, and wild strawberries, that we're having trouble with that have yet to be done. Let's start in on the animals!

Since we're going to be doing animals, let it be known that I don't want to do the spider. Spiders make me purge -- especially tarantulas, which have me purging for 4 hours or more. (See this video for a 38-minute explanation on why.) Arayaz or someone else is probably doing to have to do the spider, and even then, keep the grossness to a minimum (i.e. an orb spider instead of a tarantula). I'll handle the marine invertebrates and the scorpion, unless there are some marine invertebrates that Arayaz would love to do, and then we'll work on the insects.

OK, now I've gotten most of the aquatic invertebrates done, but this AI software really seems to have trouble with molluscs.

The spiders I've gotten aren't very realistic, so I might have to try that later, or ask in chat for help.

Meanwhle, *I* can't get it to draw scorpions right. I type in "scorpion" and the creatures look almost human. I type in "desert scorpion", and it's not much better.

What if you say “black scorpion” or “red scorpion” or “African scorpion” or “American scorpion” or some such variant?

Today I used my credits to do all the fish. I did them all without any hitches.

If you do vertebrates, coelenterates, or echinoderms on NightCafé it won't have any problems. But if you want to do arthropods, molluscs, or worms -- ugh!
