Note the conditional construction with venne, the subjunctive of volir "to want"; this is the most common compound conditional in Vissard, which lost the Romance synthetic conditional a while ago.
The construction for "it would be better" is til venne vautir mis ke + subjunctive. This is based off of the verb vautir "be worth", from VALĒRE; the -t- is a result of analogy from the Middle Vissard present tense form vaut (VALIT), now replaced by regular vaute.
mison, literally "house", can be used as a preposition equivalent to French chez; Vissard tends to develop adverbs and prepositions from oblique (i.e. genitive-dative) nouns. This is also a fossilised instance of the zero-genitive; i.e. concatenation of "noun + oblique noun" rather than "noun + a + oblique noun"; mison mi can be treated as (a le) mison (a) mi. Compare this to the Old French construction preserved in phrases like hôtel-Dieu, which is still used in modern Picard.
