I have Spanish homework due in two hours that I didn't do [:P]

Mas não é muito. Vou ficar bem.
But it's not a lot. I'll be fine.

Ai, preciso praticar mais português.
Ugh, I need to practice Portuguese more.

Seems like you confused "nunca" (Sp. never) with the Latin word "nunc", which means "now".
(Ah, yes. Thanks. Latin strikes again!)

¿Qué pasó? ¿No se reemplazará para nada el profesor? Suena extreño...
What happened?? Aren't they replacing the teacher at all? That sounds bizarre...

Anyway, I know how you feel about language learning; truth be told, I struggle with staying focused. I can study well for maybe a week or two on my own, but then I lose interest and move on to something else.

Translating conversations like this is a bit helpful at least, though really I'd rather have the chance to practise with someone in person.

No sé exactamente.
I don't know exactly what happened. It's so close to the end of the year that I don't know whether they'll replace him before summer.

Ahaha, vocabulary can be the worst.... I find keeping hold of words so difficult, especially if I don't have a quick reference for remembering them.

At least the European languages have a lot in common, but so often I want to learn languages outside of Europe.

Reading novels or books of one's interest, when one has a greater domain of the (target) languagae, helps a lot in retaining vocabulary. The one problem that I keep encountering with Occitan literature (and which other people studying minoritised languages also encounter) is that it is pretty limited.

Yo tampoco tengo clases regulares – y también he olvidado mucho.
I too don't have any regular classes – and have likewise forgotten a lot. I don't have a lot of problems with being homeschooled, but I wish I had an opportunity to practice my Spanish regularly.

"Zài jiā zìxué" hǎoxiáng shì chángyòng yǔ.
"Educated at home" seems to be the usual phrase.

Zhè ge zhōumò zài chéngshì yǐhòu, wǒ zhèngyào huí jiā. Gāoxìng zǎoshàng shèfǎ zhǎodào le diǎn chīde~
I'm about to head home after being in the city for the weekend. I'm glad I found something to eat this morning~

Àiiii, xiànzài xiūzhèng yǐqián de shēngmíng. Yǐqián zhèngyào huí jiā, dàn gānggang xiě zhèige deshíhou, cuòguò le huǒchē! Xià yī bān huǒchē hěn duō xiǎoshí cái dào…
Ahhh, and now I have to revise my previous statement - I was about to head home, but I just missed my train home while I was writing this! The next train's not for hours...

Zhìshǎo zhǎodào fāngshì lái dǎfa shíjiān. Gāng huā le yī ge xiǎoshí xiě le shàng yī duàn.
At least I've found a way of occupying myself - I just spent an hour writing the previous paragraph. [xP]
