Reading novels or books of one's interest, when one has a greater domain of the (target) languagae, helps a lot in retaining vocabulary. The one problem that I keep encountering with Occitan literature (and which other people studying minoritised languages also encounter) is that it is pretty limited.

«Educado/a en casa» parece ser la frase habitual.
“在家自学”好像是常用语。 "Zài jiā zìxué" hǎoxiáng shì chángyòng yǔ. "Educated at home" seems to be the usual phrase.
